Nathaniel’s Story

I was a student here myself... there was heaps of rain, the oval flooded, and we made rafts.

At Channel we noticed that our children were learning when they were ready. It was like a switch had been flicked on. It was the academic learning, working with the enjoyment of play, that produced the complete picture.

The idea of choosing school was a big deal for us. These days there's a pressure to conform, but Channel is a place where we can be free to be ourselves and express our values.

At Channel we noticed that our children were learning when they were ready.

I was a student myself at Channel. I remember we made tree houses in the bush. There was heaps of rain, the oval flooded, and we made rafts. Sometimes it's not the academic things that are as memorable.
