Our Team

Channel Christian School has professional staff and fully qualified teachers and leaders.

Our leadership team is committed to leading an exceptional learning and teaching program in a safe and inclusive environment. Our team is led by the following people.

School Principal

Margaret Louw

Margaret Louw commenced her role as Principal of Channel Christian School in 2019. She has a strong passion and commitment to Christian education, having served the school community as a parent, grandparent, and staff member. Margaret first joined Channel Christian School in 2004 and worked as an Early Childhood (Prep) teacher until mid-2018, when she stepped into the role of Acting Principal.

Margaret has a deep desire to see every child flourish in an authentic Christian environment, where genuine faith is lived out by staff and school families alike. Growing a strong, faithful, caring, and courageous community through partnership and shared purpose is central to her leadership.

Deputy Principal

I have been teaching for 30 years and feel privileged to be called to work at Channel in this new role. I love that my role allows me to support staff as well as teach children through faith.

Senior Administrator

I work three days a week in administration alongside Ilza. I have been a part of Channel since 2002 when my first child started Kindergarten.

I work in the front office on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with Michelle and joined the staff in October 2017. I’m excited about my children’s education at Channel.

Wellbeing Team

Our Wellbeing Team consists of Rosie Hays – Counsellor and Libby Hudson – Chaplain.

Together they work closely with our leadership team and partner with parents and teachers to support children to grow and develop holistically.
