Walk with Us in His Light

Come together with the Channel Christian School community for an evening of light, warmth, and togetherness as we journey through the darkness with our handmade lanterns.

Program of Events

  • 5.15pm | Gather at Channel Christian School

  • 5.30pm | Lantern walk begins around the local streets of Margate (see map below)

  • 6.00pm onwards | Return to school

  • 6.00pm | Storytime in the ARC

  • 6.15pm | Enjoy a warm selection of soups lovingly prepared by our Channel families

  • 7.15pm | Event concludes

Those with young families may find it helpful to bring a pram.

While our students’ handmade lanterns provide some light, we recommend
bringing a few torches to help navigate the darker sections of the walk.

Join us as we shine His light into the winter night, walking together as a community and celebrating stories, culture, and connection.
