Welcome Back to Term 3
Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you have enjoyed a refreshing and restful break and are looking forward to another wonderful term of learning, growing and connecting together.
This term at Channel, we are focusing on practising hospitality by growing through partnership. Hospitality is more than simply welcoming someone through our doors. It is about creating a community where everyone feels valued, accepted and cared for. As a Christian school, we are reminded that God’s love extends to all nations. Scripture gives us a beautiful picture of God’s family as being drawn from “every tribe, language, people and nation” (Revelation 7:9).
Throughout this term, we will encourage our students to look beyond themselves, welcome others and recognise the gifts and strengths God has given each of us. We want our students to understand that they have an important role to play in building a community where others feel included and loved.
As we begin a new term, we look forward to strengthening the partnership between students, staff and families. Together, we have the opportunity to model Christ’s love through kindness, generosity, acceptance and service.
May Term 3 be a time of growth, connection and joyful learning as we continue to place Christ at the centre of all we do.
