Staffing Changes

We have some exciting but sad news to share with you. Jess Willoughby has accepted a new position and will be finishing up her time as part of our Channel staff. She will be working under the ‘Be You’ program for Headspace as a consultant to Tasmanian schools, working with teachers to improve wellbeing in schools and respond to crises. She is eager to bring her passions to the role, and we are excited for her to use and grow the gifts that God has given her. Ms Willoughby’s last day will be on Friday 10 July.
We wish her all the best in this new endeavour.

R.I.B.I.T. Day (Reading in Bed Is Terrific)
Pyjama Day!
THIS Thursday 9 July

We will enjoy stories together in the library and then have quiet time to practise getting cozy and reading-for-leisure.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Come to school in your pyjamas, dressing gown, oodies, ugg boots - whatever is snuggly!

Bring your school shoes or sneakers for outside play (to keep your slippers clean).

WHAT TO BRING?

1. Bring your favourite cuddly toy!
2. Bring a gold coin donation for The Pyjama Foundation. Donations can also be made via the QKR app.

Library Updates

Students who have outstanding library books from the first half of the year, have a final opportunity to return them and borrow 'fresh' reads for the holidays either during our R.I.B.I.T. library sessions on Thursday, or on Friday.

If books cannot be found, titles will be marked as 'Lost' in the library catalogue, and families can donate a similar book OR pay a replacement fee for newer/popular titles. Please contact Mrs Heit if you need confirmation of overdue titles and/or fees, which can easily be paid via the QKR app under 'Library'.
