End of Year Reflection

As we reach the end of another school year, it is a wonderful moment to reflect on all we have experienced together. Term 4 can be busy, finishing tasks, celebrating achievements, and preparing for the year ahead—but joy has been easy to find in the laughter, curiosity, and friendship that fill our classrooms each day.

This year, our students have shown what it means to grow through partnership, as families and teachers worked closely together to support learning. They have become courageous learners, trying new things, tackling challenges, and discovering that effort and bravery help them grow. And they have practised faithful stewardship by caring for each other, looking after their spaces, and using their gifts to bless our community.

As the holidays begin, we hope our students enjoy rest, sunshine, and time with family and friends—simple gifts that refresh the spirit and remind us of God’s deep love for each of us.

Looking ahead to 2026, we do so with hope. A new year brings opportunities to learn, to grow in partnership, to be courageous, and to continue practising faithful stewardship. Our prayer is that each child returns ready for new adventures and all that God has planned.

To our staff, students, and families: thank you for your faith, support, and joy throughout this year. We are grateful for all that has been and excited for all that is to come.

Students are to wear free dress. Please ensure they bring a labelled bag and that their clothing/towel is clearly named. Bathers and towels are a necessity along with a warm jumper or jacket.

Please make sure that students have a drink bottle and morning tea for at the pool - no kiosk provided. Lunch will be provided back at school by 12:30pm free of charge (hot chips or pies).

After nearly twelve years of faithful service, we give thanks for the incredible contribution Mike Harrison has made to our school community. His hands have built so much of what our students enjoy today. From outdoor mud kitchens and garden beds to games and play spaces that have brought joy to every year level. He has retrieved numerous balls and shoes off the roof, cooked over open fires with classes, joined in on countless excursions, and quietly stepped in wherever help was needed. Through all of this, he has served with humility, kindness, and a deep love for our school. We are truly grateful for the way he has lived out his faith in service, and we pray God’s richest blessings as he steps into the next chapter.
