Keeping Students Safe Online with Linewize
At our school, student safety and wellbeing extend beyond the classroom and into the digital world. To help provide a safe online learning environment, we have introduced Linewize, a web filtering and online safety platform designed specifically for schools.
Linewize helps protect students by filtering inappropriate content, reducing distractions, and supporting responsible digital citizenship. It works across school-managed devices and networks, allowing students to access the educational resources they need while helping safeguard them from harmful or unsuitable online material.
As technology continues to play an important role in learning, it is essential that students develop the skills to use digital tools safely and responsibly. Linewize also helps staff monitor online activity, identify potential wellbeing concerns, and provide timely support when needed.
While filtering technology is an important layer of protection, the most effective approach to online safety is a partnership between school and home. We encourage families to continue conversations about respectful online behaviour, appropriate screen use, and protecting personal information.
