Learn - Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities

At Channel Christian School your child’s learning will also happen outside the formal classroom setting in the exciting and interesting activities that we offer throughout the year.

We call these programs ‘co-curricular’ when they extend classroom learning, and ‘extra-curricular’ when they engage and entertain the students but do not relate to specific educational goals.

Our extra-curricular activities

We have mixed soccer teams for Prep to Year 6. Our teams are coached after school by our enthusiastic parents and roster games are played on Saturday as part of the Central Region Junior Soccer Association.

Camps are a great opportunity to build relationships between teachers, parents and students. Bonds are built through shared experiences, laughter and making memories.

In Years 3 and 4 our students head off to an annual two-night camp at Blue Lagoon in Dodges Ferry, and in Years 5 and 6 we have a five-day visit to Canberra every two years and a visit to a Tasmanian adventure campsite on alternate years.
